custom craft#2

started craft#2. sewing machine is still out of commission leaving me to make this a true "made by hand" craft. today's garland is going to be for my dear friend lilly who lives in north carolina. she and her husband have a handsome little boy named arlo so i'm choosing blues and greens for this garland. who doesn't love the color of the earth, sky, and sea?

testing out some instant peel and stick glue dots and they seem to be holding up. they look similar to the strips of candy dots you can buy. using a glue stick or traditional elmers tends to really make a mess and take ages to dry. with these instant glue dots you just stick what you want to glue on the handy, little dot, peel it off, and voila! they also come in several different sizes and thicknesses for your crafting needs.

custom craft#2

sadly, custom craft#2 and all subsequent crafts are on hold. my poor little christmas sewing machine has been giving me some difficulty so i'm waiting until a sewing machine adept friend of mine can come over and diagnose the problem. until then i'm left to stare at my pile of craft material and try to suppress the itch to get to work. much to my pleasure getting the house cleaned after our recent decent into sickness and my 15 outside project have been keeping me very busy.

my sad pile of craft materials.

they want to be made in to a garland so bad.

just waiting...
