coffee and cookies

good monday morning to you all. the sun has finally struggled out from behind two long days of rainy clouds and to celebrate i'm indulging in some delicious chocolate chips cookies with my coffee this morning. feels so good to be bad! i'm thinking maybe a walk to feed the horses or to the park to play for a bit, the boys are filled to the brim with stagnant energy that needs to get out. we found a real pumpkin patch in town and i'm hoping to get the boys and the camera over there today. supposed to be over a thousand different pumpkins!

cloth diapering is going well but i only have a few, not enough to even make it through a whole day. i just wanted to test the waters, so to speak, before i just dove right in. after one day of using the gdiapers i ordered more. i'm in love but can't believe i didn't try cloth sooner. better late than never, right? should be getting my order this week and i am so ready to full time cloth diaper it up. for those of you thinking about it, stop thinking and start doing!

it's official...we are a member of the gdiaper crew. got all the inserts washed and dried last night and put the first gdiaper on finn. he looks handsome and comfortable, heres hoping i love them as much as fellow users.

the cloth diapering experiment has begun. after much research and review reading i've decided to take the cloth diaper route, more specifically to try gdiapers. since rapid city is a dry, dry desert when searching for organic diapers i've been inspired by necessity to try something new. having used disposables for my first 2 i never even thought of cloth diapering as an option; seemed like a big stinky headache. gdiapers are the best of both worlds. touting themselves a hybrid diaper, they utilize either a disposable, biodegradable insert or a washable insert. the insert is then placed into an outer shell that can be used several times before having to be washed. mine should be here next week! hope they are as good as the reviews. if not, there are still several different variations out there...let the experiment begin!
