truancy tuesday

keith has been on a crazy schedule the past 2 weeks and barely spent anytime with the family so today, with the gorgeous fall weather in the hills, we decided to pull the boys out of school and go on a field trip to spearfish canyon. we enjoyed some much needed family time and a lovely dose of mother nature. can't beat it!

harvest time!

fall is officially here and with it comes the first frost warnings of the season. we met up at the garden today to plunder the last of the produce and take down all the plants. such a sad and joyous occasion!
