a dream of mine since we moved to south dakota was to hike the harney peak trail. after several failed attempts to get a sitter so keith and i could do it solo it dawned on me that the kids would have to come if we ever wanted to do the hike. despite it being 6 miles and taking us nearly 7 hours to complete it was a gorgeous hike and the kids did PHENOMENAL!! i love my little hikers and i am happy we accomplished this as a family and not just a couple.
